I think ppl need to stop thinking of this phone as an iPhone copy... theres only so many different ways a phone can look. And theres a lot of consumers who want the biggest screen possible in the smallest form factor, and that means no buttons. but wait, if you make a phone thats all screen, you must be copying the iPhone! No, thats BS. On that same thinking you could call the Diamond 2 an iPhone copy. I'm personally using a TP2, and I've found after installing some good SIP keyboards I rarely slide out the hardware keyboard anymore. I also find that I'm using the Dpad less and less. I do like that with what buttons I have I can make it easier to launch my most often used applications, but with an intuitive UI I could probably get over not having them. I think this phone is beautiful (on the outside, the UI I would have to see and use in person to decide).
Thats my 2 cents, and now on to the real reason I'm posting... All the news on this phone I have read is a minimum of 3-4 mos old. Has anyone heard anything recently on this phone coming to the US and which carriers may get it?
edit: I'm using a TP, i guess that was a little wishful thinking there while i was typing...
