Re: Sprint getting HTC Rhodium

pro2 from sprint is considered as high-end phone with GSM mode. I hope sprint won't force SEP plan on this phone as they did for Instinct.

no matter how cool the pro2 is, I won't change to SEP plan. if they do, iphone and ATT are more tempting.

then you better get ready. based on history, GSM got early start with new phones. with GSM, phone maker sells more globally. it makes sense that GSM has high priority in business term.

Re: Sprint getting HTC Rhodium

i dont know where this thread is going, it seems many of you are starting to have doubts, its the touch pro all over again. does it matter who gets it first, to me no it doesnt. sprint for sure is getting the phone, thats all we really need to worry about. honestly sprint and htc have a good reputation so i doubt tmobile will get it before them. weve all seen the road map, somebody didnt make that up just to mess with us, plus sprint confirmed it was real by asking the website to take it down. dont worry people sprint will have it quarter 4, doesnt matter when anyone else is getting it unless youre with another carrier.

From htc.com

TP2: 0.68in
D2: 0.54in

TP: 0.71in
Diamond (sprint): 0.6in

From the new leaked videos the TP2 looks slimmer than it probably is due to curved edges. Doesn't look that much thicker next to the Diamond2. I just wish the Diamond2 had the same screen and styling as the TP2. I personally don't care for a hardware keyboard with that size anyway.

Re: Sprint getting HTC Rhodium

keep in mind those specs are GSM, the batteries are much smaller than cdma.

expect cdma sprint models to be double that thickness.
but i really do hope the TP2 is as thick as the sprint diamond.. thats a good thickness and weight for me.

I agree with you. I don't care about the keyboard either. I always like big screen like iphone 3.5". diamond is too small, plus wasting alot of space on useless zoom wheel. diamond 2 is still small and still wasting space at the bottom.
