mythical Google phone

I have never been an Apple fan but to be fair I have never owned anything made by them. I guess I put my judgemental attitude on the fact that I just laugh so hard at the Apple verses Windows commercials. As a windows fan that's just insulting, but funny. I am a fan of Google and also a free lover, I just like free stuff, like my free Google mail and Google maps so when it comes to Google free is an option. So, if Google has the best alternative to the I phone I wont hesitate to buy I just hope its Windows Mobile. Want to read the hole story go HERE

Yeah, that doesnt look like a claim on insurance every other month. Yes it does have sex appeal, but functionality is lacking. Pretty much, it is a 6600 without the hard keys. I am not saying that I am not intrigued, but realistically, no thanks.

Google is heavily getting into linux development, found this out about 3-4 weeks ago. I theorized they'd be making both a desktop & phone version.

Google has developed a prototype cell phone that could reach markets within a year, and plans to offer consumers free subscriptions by bundling advertisements with its search engine, e-mail, and Web browser software applications, according to a story published Thursday in The Wall Street Journal.

Google is showing the prototype to cell phone manufacturers and network operators as it continues to hone the technical specifications that will allow the phone to offer a better mobile Web browsing experience than current products, the story said.

Actually the "Google phone" might place very well if they win the FCC auction for the 1700 MHz frequency being vacated by network TV next year.....very interesting....

*Don't quote me on the actual frequency range though. Ask google for specifics.
