Mogul is being discontinued

Still seems odd that RS is discontinuing a popular PDA on the Sprint network with nothing to replace it as far as form factor goes.

from the many years that i have worked at RS i have found we tend to discontinue the phones before anyone else does. i believe thats so we dont invest in buying more of phones that are started to be phased out and being able to buy the newer phones that are coming in. that lets us sell through the older inventory so that we dont have both models side by side. which would you normally buy? the old or new?

p.s. i also agree that most folks that work at RS presently dont know a whole lot, but please dont lump us all together! the same can be said of just about any retailer, especially sprint!

Radioshack has the Touch, so possibly they're moving in that direction. Agreed with hunterd 100%.

RS is RS thats all I can say about that. The 6800 is NOT being "end of lined". The ONLY reason it was pulled off the web site and from the stores was to upgrade all the phones with the new rom( this has been talked about how many times). Sprints sales of the mogul have went threw the roof. I also know for a fact that sprint has extentend contracts with HTC for the 6800. Listen folks, this information IS on the web. Please do more research. It isnt that hard.

The facts are:

* Apparently, Radio Shack will not be carrying the Mogul anymore.
* The Mogul is back on Sprint's website and in stock (see other threads discussing this).
