well they shouldnt do this, it cant be that difficult or that much of a financial strain on them to enable this, especially when every other national carrier supports this on ppc's. Us ppc users probably account for less then 10% of sprints customers, so i cant imagine that including pic mail with smartphones will do any damage when it comes to mms server traffic.
Also, i am willing to bet you that most mogul users ARE NOT business people. They arent the only ones who want smart devices. more and more of us want a converged media device in our pockets, that can keep us connected to email, internet, IMers, and music and videos, so as data rates become cheaper and cheaper and the prices on these smart devices keep coming down, you can bet your arse there will be more and more people who have smartphones, who will be PISSED cuz they cant send pics!!!!! lol |
In my opinion, and not that it counts any... I think Sprint is setting themselves for failure when it comes to handling their products. I don't know if it's a business move or they are just plain ignorant of how the cell industry is going. It seems that when a great feature is introduced that brings reliability to the industry, they are the only ones that refuse to apply it. But they will charge you for a plan that promises plenty and offers you less.

Sorry if this has already been covered, but does anyone have a list of the mms email addresses for the large carriers? I know the carrier for most of my frequent contacts and this would be a great tool until proper mms gets worked out again. Thanks, 5gear. |

umm... sprint sucks.. and i got the employyeeeeee plan.. and they still suck =\
time cures everything i guess.. we will have pic.vid mail soon ~~ |
Funny thing,
I have the plan that says I have picture mail, I'm giving spring money for free. There must be something we can do. Has anyone wrote to the BBB about this? I was up and running good until Jan 30, 2008 and then there was the message "Message Delivery Failed. Or Message Receipt Failed." Sprint is so wack for this one. The entire nation should try sending picture mail all at once and see if we can over-load this new encription. |
Someone said they blocked all PPC phones, my 6600 had pic mail on it from Sprint, do they still work?I a Touch a week ago because I would get text messages from people sending it to other people.
