Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail

I want a formal response that isn't some half baked excuse. There needs to be an investigation into this and i have no idea why anyone would let this happen. Unfortunately this is a sham perpetrated on Sprints more dedicated customer base. MMS and Sprint TV were working fine until Sprint saw fit to block all access to these services from phones that it was well capable of supporting these services. I would like to begin a formal investigation into Sprint blocking of MMS messages when they signed an exclusive partnership wth other vendors to fully support Picture/Audio/Text MMS across all of the Vendors networks but chose not to support it on their own. |

Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail
I agree and find that very disappointing. What part of it is illegal. Picture mail always has a disclaimer for only supported devices. There is really nothing that can be done except to file complaints with whatever Sprint dept will take them and hope for the best.

Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail
You can email pix, it's a hassle and it does work but it's not as easy as the hack and you HAVE to have a data plan (unless you're independently wealthy) see the announcements at the top of all Sprint threads on this forum for info.

Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail
I started a similar thread on another site
this was my reply from sprint when I emailed them Dear , Thank you for contacting Sprint. I will be happy to assist you regarding feature of the handset. I apologize for the inconvenience. I noticed that the Ut Starcom PPC6800 is active on that account. And, this do not carry the mms features. But, we are receding the same remarks for the handset. When this facility will be available on the handset. We will sent the information to you. I can not provide you any date for this. The charge of the mms depends on the plan active on the handset. When the MMS facility will be comptable with the plan only than any charges can be describe for the same. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Joan K.
