Windows mobile 7 delayed again

on the one hand this will be unique
but on the other hand it means I get a good use out of my touch pro 2. But then considering the fact that windows mobile 7 was going to get RTMed in fall 2010 (which is when we saw wm 6.5) we will have a wm7 mockup probably around January or February (latest March).

I was ready to say down with microsoft but if you think a bit about the roadmap, I personally think the delay will be minimal from a possible october release to a november or december release to which I honestly don't see happening in all likelihood. So its quite interesting but I'm not personally dissuaded. It does make a lot more sense to release a wm for capacitive touch screens now but to this extreme, it is tough to say. I'm honestly not dissuaded by this, nor surprised at all.

Iam honestly lost because its not the ROMs that made windows mobile popular , its people like PPC Geeks and xda that made windows mobile great. Microsoft really only deserves credit for making the product but we are responsible for making it popular. The people who make ROMS,applications,games,and modifications. We dont need microsoft to help us enjoy our WM . I myself have made freeware in my spare time which i have very little of , and there been many great developers who have contributed. Its the apps that ultimately make or brake software and trust me from my talks with other developers , next year is going to be a killer year for windows mobile. Apps are going to be great and the games are going to be incredible. Windows mobile is about to have playstation type games without the emulators. Whoever thinks windows mobile is dead is insane. Its going to be bigger than ever so dont worry windows mobile going to be king i put my reputation on that.

Well said Rogelio! I completely agree with you and love your faith! You are right, it's PPCGeeks and XDA who make WM who they are today. What would they do without these sites???
