Move a Q9c from Alltel to Verizon

Verizon Says that I can't just take my Alltel Q9c to a Verizon account.
Can I flash it with a Verizon ROM and make it work that way?
If so, what do I need, and can someone walk me through it?
Thanks

Any answers? I have a US Cellular Q9c I'd like to use on Verizon.

Re: Move a Q9c from Alltel to Verizon

I got my answer: No.
Verizon claims the radio inside isn't compatible with their wireless services. BS, but arguing with them doesn't get you anywhere.
Oh well...
