Most, not all. If there are issues you can usually spot them in the reviews of the apps at the marketplace.
Some work fine but are not optimized for the higher resolution screen so end up looking cheep. Anything that requires the phone being rooted also won't work. I would say from my experiences, that apps not working on 2.0 is the exception and not the rule. |

that does make sense. it's like on the htc pro running software from earlier os's on the new ones. they look like crap

bandens got it right, most of the really good apps are being updated to take advantage of the newer phones high res screen also.

so i'll just have to read through the comments to see if it was an earlier version. I'm not gonna actually have the phone for another day, but i just wanna make sure iu don't run into any bumps

I've got 88 apps installed on mine, all compatible with the newest android system, and I've easily installed and removed twice that number. I've encountered maybe 20 or so that seemed like they were incompatible with some aspect of 2.0. Also noteworthy is the fact that I've still got 135MB available of the phones on board 256MB so with 88 apps installed I've used slightly less than half of the storage space.
