I was wondering if anyone had any information about the android port of scummvm.

There's a commercial that plays a background sound that sounds like one of the sounds in "the dig". So I dug out all my old Lucas arts titles in hopes of getting one to work some how. If I could get scummvm on my droid I would be in heaven!

3 days ago I found it in market place but it was not working with android 2.0. Last night it was missing entirely. Did it get cencored? Or does the android market place now recocnize the version and only display apps for that version?

Ok, I think I got this one figured out for anyone that stumbles accrost this post...

As I understand it the developers have set a limit in the market place to only show for Android with sdk version 4 and lower. I'm not totally versed on sdk's, api's or Linux/unix based OS's for that matter, but it solves the mystery of why it was there and then wasn't.

As stated before it didn't work on Eclair ( Android's 2.0 release ) so it was probably wise to make it unavailible. When it does finally show up again, it "should" work. So keep checking if you're interested.

In the mean time I pulled Full Throttle, The Dig, Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Sam and Max's Adventures out of my closet in hopes it will be soon!
