Camera/Video quality question

Ok, I need to know if anyone is seeing the same problem as me.

When I turn the camera on, on the droid, I get all these really thin multi-colored lines flowing down screen. The picture quality seems really crappy for 5MP. ( i have the camera options set to the highest resolution for MP and quality...super fine).

Does anyone else see these lines on the screen in camera mode? They seem to flow down the screen like they're moving.

Joe

Re: Camera/Video quality question

I absolutely have not seen anything like that. I dont think I've even heard of anyone else haveing a similar issue. You might want to got back to the store and compare it to another phone and then get them to trade it for you.

Re: Camera/Video quality question

I took it back to the store last night. At the store, both Moto droid demo phones did it, and the HTC Droid Eris demo did it too.

I realized after I got to the store and couldn't get the problem to happen (figures) that you really only see the lines when you point the camera at something very dark, and are kind of close up.

Guess it's normal.
