sending sounds via mms?

How can u send sounds from the droid via mms? I have several freinds that kinda rely on me to send them ringtones and I have yet to figure out how to send them from my droid..... I have attempted to use the attachment option but for sounds, but will only allow for the recorder to be used... anyone have any ideas about how this is done?

Re: sending sounds via mms?

Well, I haven't tried doing it from my Droid, but you can just send it as an e-mail. Send the e-mail to (10 digit phone number)@vzwpix.com and attach the sound. You can send the e-mail from your Droid or your computer or wherever. So if the phone number was 440-555-1234 then you would send it to:

4405551234@vzwpix.com

If I wasn't so lazy I'd go see if I could figure out how to do it directly as an MMS...

I've heard that Handcent SMS lets you send audio via mms and is free. I haven't tried it though, I may have even spelled handcent wrong.
