Re: Screen Protectors?

i got the zagg screen protector and its awesome. i am not getting the "orange peel" effect either. i put it on myself and i have no air bubbles or anything like that it looks good. for the touch screen i prefer it to the glass screen, i kept having my finger get stuck on something or other on the glass screen but with the szagg its slightly slower but also smoother without my finger getting stuck b/c of oily skin.

Re: Screen Protectors?

The 'orange peel' effect from Zagg Invisible Shields really only happens if they are installed improperly. That is to say, if you put too much elbow grease into working out bubbles with the squeegee/card.

I've installed about a dozen invisible shields over the year, and found that if I install them in such a way to prevent large bubbles from being trapped upon first application, the shield is perfectly smooth. If I really work trapped bubbles out, the screen will 'orange peel' wherever I was pushing the bubbles. Once the screen has dried in place, it 'memorizes' it's structure and won't 'orange peel' from then on.

Re: Screen Protectors?

Bodyguardz are the best IMO. I usually get the full protection but on the eris and droid i just got the screen because i like the soft touch casing. The material is not sticlky like Zagg but is not too smooth like the bare screen. I like a tiny bit of resistance. They also reduce the glare and attract little to no fingerprints. After an hour they are almost unnoticeable after a day you cant visually tell a protector is on.
