Just FYI -- the HTC has Pinch just the same as the iPhone.. so it really just comes down to what you consider multitouch to be and want it to do.

Technically it does have multi-touch, but it is currently only enabled on the on-screen keyboard. I hope with 2.1 in the works they will enable it in the browser as well. I wonder if the new opera for android may support it. From what i have read it is up to programmers if they want to incorporate multi-touch in their products..

I will still get it - the euro version (milestone) has the pinch multi-touch gesture supported so it will not be long before it is hacked into the droid imho

The Droid DOES have Multi-touch... pinch-to-zoom just isn't implemented for some reason.
By the way, Multi-touch != Pinch-to-zoom, although Pinch-to-zoom = Multi-touch.
