Re: Exchange Surcharge Could Hinder Droid With Businesses
The article is misleading or flatout just wrong.

i think the extra charge is for them to host your exchange account basically. so they would push your emails (from whatever email account) to your phone. And I'm assuming contacts and the such as well.

Re: Exchange Surcharge Could Hinder Droid With Businesses
Gotta remember.. most businesses aren't going to be running Droids unless they use Gmail or some other thirdparty setup already. More small businesses - so the exchange server doesn't really factor in much. Plus theres always the option for checking that stuff via the web. So its not much to get worked up over.

Re: Exchange Surcharge Could Hinder Droid With Businesses
Well seeing how these are the same plans we have been paying for years for our windows phones I think iPhone users are trying to find ways to hurt droid news. By the way AT&T charges $20 for their exchange mail... And $15 for tethering. People here get used to our hacked free tethering and forget that we are technically stealing it...

Re: Exchange Surcharge Could Hinder Droid With Businesses
This whole article and news has been blown way out of the water by iPhone fan boy sites. AT&T is a sinking ship and pushing on its loyal media outlets to print w/e they can against Verizon in a way that makes them look like the devil. Just look at this frivolous lawsuit AT&T has conjured up about the "There's a map for that" commercials.
