Re: Froyo & phone favorites list

Yes that is the favorites list however.... you have the favorites, then you have a different part of the list below the favorites that is a frequently dialed or something like that... it will keep a list of contacts that you call the most even if they are not in your favorites list. The favorites will always be at the top followed by the top 5 or 10 you contact the most. Hope this helps...

Re: Froyo & phone favorites list

yeah, that's it....I didn't have any favorites added to the "favorites" list so the list I was looking at was the "freq called" list.

SO, is there a way to WHACK contacts from that list without deleting them from the contact list proper?

Re: Froyo & phone favorites list

Why do you want to remove them from the list? If you don't use the list don't hit the tab. I'm just trying to figure out the issue with it.

I have the option to remove favorites as well. I cannot, however, remove from the frequently called list. I don't think your issue is a problem with froyo either. Everything works as well or better than it did with 2.1 on my phone.

Re: Froyo & phone favorites list

on my 2.2 version, you can hit the menu button, then there is a "clear frequently called" button.
as far as individual entries, no.
there is also an apk that you can install that will do the same.
i have attached it.

Re: Froyo & phone favorites list

which menu on what screen where? And what would I do with this attachment?

As for manipulating the list, Wolf......favorites, yes. Frequently called numbers, no. It's like deleting emails and texts that I've read. I don't save that crap. I don't need my phone saving numbers that I call in a list. If it does, there ought to be a way to clear that list, just like deleting emails and such.

It's a Marine thing.......OOoorAhhh

Re: Froyo & phone favorites list

Got you.

As for the attachment above put it on your SDcard and then use a file explorer like Astro and explore to the file location and tap on it to install the program.
