Motorola Andriod 2.2(froyo) Update

Yes i was wondering has Verizon Released the new update yet? Or is it true it won't be Released till the 15th? The only reason why i ask is because i read Here http://www.intomobile.com/2010/08/02...riginal-droid/ today it was gonna be released . But i have checked all day still no release. So are they still gonna release it today or what ?

I unrooted today and still waiting for my 2.1 update.

I wouldn't have, Chevy has a very nice FRG01B rom available with all the features you'd get from the vzw rom and more.

My camera is all jammed up so I needed to replace the phone. I'll update the wifes phone and see how froyo is before I update it.
