Selecting Default Video Player

I'm running Froyo and cannot figure out how to set the default video player. I downloaded the app from the market called "ClearDefault" and went into settings/applications/manage applications........still nothing.

I am trying to watch movies on orb but every movie in the default player is saying cannot play.

Re: Selecting Default Video Player

The format might not be correct for playing with the default viewer. Download another video player and after you install it and then try to play a video you should get a popup that asks which software you would like to use.

What is the format of the video?

I already tried that and it does not come up. There is also no option for video player in manage applications.

As far as video format goes I have no idea. They have .avi extensions but could be divx, xvid, etc. It streams the video so I can't download it then open it to watch.

Re: Selecting Default Video Player

Hmm, maybe something wrong with Orb then. Not real sure as I haven't tried that program on Android.

Re: Selecting Default Video Player

Yeah its frustrating. Any other time for anything else it asks me for a default program. It does it for my browsers and audio players.
