the n1 just got 2.2, when will we start seeing some 2.2 roms? will we ever?

I am hoping adamz updates smoked glass with a froyo build, dunno with the loss of alldroid his rom no longer has a home.

I expect ROMs with 2.2 functionality long before Verizon pushes theirs out.

Official 2.2 is supposed to be "in the near future". What ever that means.

Based on the way they handled 2.1, that "in the near future" will probably be 2011

It didn't take that long for 2.1. I imagine a month or so though before it officially arrives.

your right i think compared to the whole gps and rom update for the omnia that this one was somewhat faster. Especially after it was anounced.

I can't see anything in 2.2 that I would kill to have over 2.1 with root to be honest.

A noticeable faster OS (yes that means faster than overclocked) means nothing to you? Means something to me though.

Let alone all of the other stuff they added.
