another OTA update

I took the last one a few days ago, and now there is another. Should I just take it and expect that Droidmod 1.0 will handle it the same way?

Here's what the Droidmod website had to say about it yesterday:

"Another OTA update has appeared. Users who have rooted, but are not using SPRecovery should take extreme care, as this update contains a complete /system image, which means that it will not break the way the previous one did; it will simply erase /system and flash a complete image. If you already have SPRecovery flashed, you can safely accept the update as you did with the ESE81 update."

I accepted it and everything is fine.

This is it for me though. As much as I like Droidmod, if they don't have something new by the time I have a few spare minutes in the upcoming days, I'm going with something different. I understand not wanting to rush out an update and to take the time to make sure it's as bug-free as possible, but this is ridiculous.

I totally agree. I might have to abandon DroidMod as well. They are getting left behind. I got this last update yesterday. I was wondering why I was getting it. I thought that maybe they were recurring on my phone.

Re: another OTA update

Accepted it and had no problems after the reboot.
I will wait a while longer, but not many months longer.
