Re: Can I teather my Droid?

first download this file... http://www.mediafire.com/?ynwgqtwzuzm

then rename it to update.zip.. make sure its not update.zip.zip if you dont see the .zip dont add it just rename it to update

then put it on the root (not in any folders)of your sd card

then power off your phone
then press x and the power button until you see a triangle with an ! in it
then press camera and vol+ until you see a menu
then use the dpad to select update.zip

done!

Are you on 2.0, 201 or 2.1? If you are on 2.1 then the directions above will not work for you.

You can't root 2.1 yet. You can go from 2.01 to a rooted 2.1. Look here: http://alldroid.org/threads/16714-2....-2.1-with-root!

Follow those directions and it should get you going.

If your rooted then look on the program menu and look for superuser permission ninja guy.

If not Follow this for back to stock 2.01

Re: Can I teather my Droid?

Do you guys think 2.0.1 is better than 2.1? I just din't want to risk losing any performance or anything like that just for this reason. Is it worth it, i guess is what I'm aking. I appreciate all the help from you guys, too. I'm not very good with all this technical stuff, so it is nice gettin some help.
