Sholesmod RIP?

It looks like sholes.info team is collapsing.

There was a huge drama about the SMUpdater app. The owner of the Sholes.info site accused the programmer of the app of stealing all the money that came from the market. The programmer said Google doesn't let you pull funds until the end of the month. People got mad, yelling occurred, the site owner pulled the site. Sholes has apparently now become DroidMod with a few people gone now.

Also, they plan on releasing DMUpdater on the market and it will be free so everyone can constantly receive updates even if they haven't donated.

Is this why my SM Updater won't let me do anything buy revert to stock since yesterday? What about the app I already paid for???

That's already happening as mentioned above.

I had a feeling this would start happening when the charged money for the updater. Hopefully the new team will fare better.

The new "DroidMod Updater" will be released (hopefully soon) and that one will work (and be free). The current SMUpdater isn't so useful unfortunately

There was a 2.0.6 that they were getting ready to release when fit hit the shan. Some people got it. One guy posted it for download on the DroidMod forum but a mod took the link down
