Verizon and Skype coming soon to Droid.

It seems that Verizon's announcement yesterday was that they have worked with skype to develop a mobile app. From the description it sounds an awful lot like how Google Voice works, but adds some functionality native to skype.

Mostly it will use voice services and not data for transmission and receipt of calls through the skype service.

Tried to create an APK from Astro, but it labels Skype as "private".
