Accelerometer Control - ANDROID (Droid)

Hey guys,

I have looked and looked and looked and I cant seem to find anything that helps me control the accelerometer more then either having it on or off.

Its a little picky, so I need help calibrating it as well as seeing if there is a way I can designate it to only work in certain programs. If there is no way to do that, is there a widget that will allow me to turn the accelerometer on/off that I can download (if so whats the app called in the marketplace)?

Thanks and advance everyone!

I'd like to calibrate mine too. Often, when I open an app while the phone is lying flat on a table it switches to landscape mode.

I dont think it's so much of a calibration issue, cause I have a bubble level application that shows it to be pretty spot on when the phone is laid flat. I've noticed mine does this too, and if I pick it up to switch it to portrait mode it will stay in portrait when I lay it back down.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.0.1; en-us; Droid Build/ESD56) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17)

Yeah i have that application too. if i don't calibrate it, the bubble goes to the right. I had downloaded that app in hopes that its calibration would fix it.

i just leave it set to only go landscape when the keyboard is open now.
