Tough to answer. In short no.
It really sounds like you're still in the Windows mindframe. Generally speaking the Android stores system settings and runs the app in the background if you chose to open another app. It will stay running until resources dictate it be closed. Even then when you go back to the app it should still go to the same place you left it. So it's not like WinMo, BB or Palm systems where you need to close or manage the apps running in the background. And if you want to re-open the app the best way is from the shortcut or the app drawer. |

i kinda just want something like the task killer where it lists everything going then "kill all" but where i can just pick the function i want to go back to without going through my drawer.

I too did not know about the home button. A thanks goes to you. More I get to know this 'device' the more I love it. I am driving my wife crazy though lol.

I too just learned the home button shortcut and i too am freaking loving this phone i laugh at the idea that i was scared to transition from Windows mobile to this phone. thanks again JonV
