Re: Motorola Droid Case
Body glove makes a nice hard case for the droid. It does not add all that much bulk and has a nice rubberized texture for grip. Downside is that the rubberized grip makes it difficult to put in and remove from your pocket. also unfortunately it has the swivel clip that you said you do not want, but it also has the option to not have a clip. there is a insert for it so there is not a hole on the back like many cases. I personally would not want a device as expensive and as kick a** as the droid hanging from my belt anyway so i never used it. After using the case for about a week i decided to run naked, mostly due to the fact of it being hard to get out of my pocket when someone called, and for the fact that the droid seems very sturdily built. Im sure i will regret it at some point but for now i am living on the edge!!

Re: Motorola Droid Case
The innocase from Siedio is considered by many to be the best one available for the droid, and I think it would fit the description of what you're looking for. I haven't used it personally though, my Droid is and will always be naked

Re: Motorola Droid Case
I bought a 2 piece snap on red case for mine for a few bux on ebay. Then I put it in the leather pouch.
Now that I have the MM dock and the car dock, I have to ace the case. |

Re: Motorola Droid Case
I have a case for my Droid that is a sort of hard rubber (almost like a car tire) and its got lines running through the back, like its ribbed or somethin. The best part it is comes with an extra clip on case for it, or rather a slide the phone into it style clip. Plus the clip doesnt swivel and is extra wide for good gripping. Its a case which the droid (in its rubberized shell) slides into, with the front of the phone facing inwards. its a bit awkward to answer calls when your cus your phone is holstered facing with the screen inwards. But i only seem to use the clip when im out and about, and most of the time i just have the phone with its case attached in my lap or what not. Its feels like it protects your phone quite a bit, and ive already dropped my droid a few times.
Its called the Motorola Droid Shell/Holster Combo pack, and its on Amazon for $13. |

Re: Motorola Droid Case
I got a case from the Verizon store for $17 that is a silicon snap on (looks like plastic completely covered with soft silicone). It is textured like the body glove case. What I really like about it is that it covers the entire phone and is not bulky at all. I only has cutouts for the power button, camera and speaker. The hardware buttons are all covered, but the case is soft in these areas leaving the buttons protected and fully functional. I is called the "silicone snap on case". I like this one over the Body Glove case because it has more coverage and looks better, not to mention it is half the price as well.

Re: Motorola Droid Case
I have the same case as tvandyck7 and I love it (: Really doesn't add bulk, none of that holster stuff that I'll never use, and the hardware buttons are plenty sensitive. Only possible complaint from me is that the mic is slightly obscured by it and so I tend to tilt it forward to make my voice clearer for whoever I'm calling. I figure that's similar for any case, though, with how close the mic is positioned to the screen slider.

Re: Motorola Droid Case
Ever thought of the pdair vertical case?
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product...ducts_id=27838 Nice lil case, this is, and most importantly, it's not that expensive and free shipping. |
