Beautiful widgets is back!!

For those that don't know just thought I would tell all that Beautiful Widgets is back available for download in the Market. It has a new look.....but its back....

It's back, but it's doesn't live up to it's name any longer.

If I was the developer, I would try and mimick the clock on the new 2.0.1 lockscreen. The current widget's font is horrible. I haven't updated yet... can't stomach it.

I like everything about the new version more than the old Version with the one exception being the font. I like the full screen weather better than the older one that just had the box in the middle, and I like the fact that the widget itself is much more transparent allowing the wallpaper to be more visible. The font doesnt look bad if you're using the smaller widget (which is what I switched to for now) and IMO actually looks better than the full size older version. I do have the old version backed up so I can switch anytime, but I'm liking the new one enough to not go back. He is already talking about adding different skins and fonts, so I dont think it will be long before he's addressed everyones concerns

I use weather widgets, but I think that the new BWs looks more droidy.

I think that if the developer of Beautiful Widgets combined the look of the last version with the full screen weather of this newest one it would be a killer widget. Theme support would rock too.

nevermind I bought it too as I agree it looks more droidish rather that too htc clone like....so I like it for that reason but I was wondering if there is any future plans to add an additional touch after you open the full screen weather to either link it too another weather app or have it pull up a radar map of your location would be awesome that is the only thing I love about weather widgets and its ability to reskin the clock and weather icons.......just my .02

I know the developer has made mention of adding different skins for users to choose from, but I dont know about the additional weather feature. I do agree with you that an option to go a little further into the weather details would be nice.

Well I hope the skins come out soon just so I can play with it a little but it would be awesome to have a radar tab or button at the bottom of the detailed forecast so that you could click it and it would pull up the radar map if.....this is possible I mean I like being able to link weather widgets to another app but if I could cut out the middle man that would be awesome.

I really like the new version as well. Even though tyhe old one looked a little cooler I prefer having a much more functional 1x4 widget like the one in the update.
