if you browse the market and check that app it has a update but when you read the description it says to backup the app with a good backup program because HTC sent him a C&D and he has to take it off the market soon.

i wonder if weather widget donate is getting same treatment.

Really dumb question....so if I back up the app I should still be able to use it? Also will the weather not update if they pull the app?

i have no clue i just know it said to back it up so i figured backing it up would still allow me to use it along as i enable installing of non-market apps.

Are you kidding me? HTC man why can these companies just deal with the fact that there are other people out there that can do the same things they can and let them be. Thanks for the heads up. We should start a thread called leave beautiful widgets alone.

yeah i looked at weather widget donate and seems that's perfectly fine with doing the same thing but they just "re-skinned the clock and weather" a bit so there not being threatened.

How do you know they haven't gotten the same letter?
