Friends & Family + Google Voice Number

Has anyone got any flack for setting up their Google Voice number as one of their Friends and Family members? It kinda seems too good to be true.

I have mine set up and I haven't received any flack. However I really don't use it that much.

Really? Is that new? I don't recall seeing that when I signed up for GV but I got an early invite.
