Re: Home Screen Tranistions / Motion
Yes, you are being nitpicky, but your thinking of spending a couple hundred of your hard earned dollars, so you're entitled to be nitpicky

Re: Home Screen Tranistions / Motion
Yes, the poorly coded transitions bother me a little too, but they are by no means a deal breaker. It isn't a lack of processing power, it's a lack of coding optimization. It'll get fixed eventually (either through an official update, or a custom ROM).

Re: Home Screen Tranistions / Motion
I noticed the little jitter also when i first got the droid, however since the update that was pushed to the phone i have not seen this, my droid is running a lot smoother and faster then before. Compared to the tp i had before this phone is amazing in all aspects. Also i understand what your saying about waiting for the new HTC with the 1ghz processor, however in my experience and knowledge from selling phones before, new tech is not always what its cracked up to be. It always has its issues and its usually the first run of phones and the people that buy them that are the ones that have to deal with it. A faster processor is all fine and good but i think HTC needs to improve on some other things also, such as sound quaity. Personally this is a big thing for me and the Droid in my opinion has unmatched sound in both call quality and media. I admit that Motorola could have done some things better with the droid, however i still think they hit a homerun with this phone. And ill take a proven tech over a new tech anyday, sometimes the hassle just isnt worth it to me, but thats just my opinion

Re: Home Screen Tranistions / Motion
I really hope they dont fix the few tiny problems with this phone. I have heard from a pretty reliable source that if a phone manufacturer ever actually produces a phone that doesnt have at least one tiny flaw that it will cause a tiny black hole that will swallow the planet ending life as we know it, and the Droid is already dangerously close
