Google Goggles

How many have tried it yet? I've only had it for a few hours now and it's been pretty amazing so far. Definitely a WOW app to show to the iPhone fanboys.

Re: Google Goggles

Haha, I've been taking pictures of things ever since I installed it. I don't know if it's all that useful (at least to me), but it sure is cool.

Ive used it on a couple diffrent things and i have yet to have anything work. I tried a Mtn Dew can then tried the barcode on the can then a couple of other things and all came back with the result of nothing. I love google products so hopefully it will get better.

Lightbulb Re: Google Goggles

I love this thing. This phone / software is by far the best I have ever owned. I have used every "smartphone" out there across all brands and i have to say bravo Google. Googles is just one more piece to the skynet puzzle. We are all doomed. I have been using this thing all day and have to say it is fairly useful. Ever been shopping and not recognize a brand of BBQ Sauce (insert product)? Googles to the rescue!

Re: Google Goggles

It's worked on lots of things for me, and it's missed some too, but it's brand new and the database is still being built for it. It's only going to get better

Re: Google Goggles

Yeah, if you read the TOS on it... Google keeps all the photos you take with goggles... so I imagine as time goes on it's going to become quite powerful with a huge library.
