Help for Droid X Hdmi cable to Tv

Has anyone been able to watcm movies from their Droid to their Tv via the Mini HDMI cable ? I have the App Mega Viewer that I am able to watch movies on the Droid x but I cannot use the HDMI to hook to my Tv. Any ideas on how to do this? Can I do this ?
