Launcher Pro

Who is using Launcher Pro? What do you all think of it. I have been using for about 4 days now and cant decide between stock blur and LP.

I only briefly tried Launcher Pro. Looked nice, but some of the more advanced features were in the pay version. I wasn't quite ready to pay for a launcher, so I ended up using ADW.launcher and like it quite well.

Re: Launcher Pro

I've tried staying with the stock launcher, tried ADW but finally settled on Launcher Pro Plus. For me it's been a smooth ride so far, no lags or FC's or anything. I love the fact that the bottom dock can have up to 3 screens to scroll through for adding stuff. I also love that LPP let's you hide apps so they don't show up in the app drawer.

Re: Launcher Pro

I was just checking out the features of this app (I haven't installed it) & I don't really see what you gain over the stock X launcher??

It is faster, or does it do special features that I am missing??

There are special features, and they are faster.

Both LPP and ADW support a bottom app launcher (with ADW, you can 'flip up' the lanch bar and get 3 more 6-button trays.)
Not sure about LPP, but ADW let's me 'resize' my screen. I hate the 4x4 grid that the home screen is locked into. I changed mine to a 5x5, and it gives me a lot more freedom with my layouts.
