I have to ask, I know I am being ignorant, but why does anyone care what the moon phase is?

For me it was more of a "WHY didn't they do this?" thing

The algorithm is not rocket science.

The effect is nice.

Its at least as valuable as windshield wipers when it rains

And yes, it is nice to know when the full moon is approaching so you can avoid werewolves.

Cool, I just didn't know if I was missing something cool during certain phases or something. Hey, each to his own-Wipers on TF3D or having a flip clock vs non flip clock, no reason why, just because you can. Sounds good to me!

I know that's right brother!!!! I had a run in with a werewolf in london! And all of that could have been soooo avoided if I had the moon phases on my cell phone!!! This is truely a must have for all werewolves avoiders EVERYWHERE!!!

I guess you don't live too near the coast
the height of high tide is in line with the moons phases

If I remember correctly, it's low in a full moon and high in a new moon

Hehe, I live in Northern Minnesota, FAR from any coasts. But I used to live in Norfolk VA, and there they would tell us what times the tides were high and low.
