I guess you don't live too near the coast
the height of high tide is in line with the moons phases

If I remember correctly, it's low in a full moon and high in a new moon

Hehe, I live in Northern Minnesota, FAR from any coasts. But I used to live in Norfolk VA, and there they would tell us what times the tides were high and low.

I work in IT and I swear to GOD weird things happen to electronics during a full moon. I have to know the phase it is just habit for me now.

Should work with any TF3d... just get the right images for your version. If you don't know which version you have, try one. If the moon looks fat (or skinny!) try the over version of the moon images.

I love the idea too - it's just one of those fun things like the windshield wiper. Necessary? Absolutely not. Fun? Absolutely.

Now if only I was a technogeek instead of a technogeek wannabe, I'd install this, but the big bad wolves of reg edits scare me and I only like the little lamb cabs, thank you! LOL!
