Re: TF3D HD port 2/1/09 update
I just installed this & everytime I get to the weather tab it TF crashes.
I'm sure there is a fix listed, but I can't read thru 500 posts & the search didn't really help me. ~John |

I hate to say it because I do this as well but the mistake is usually just under our nose and usually listed in post one but even experienced individuals just simply don't read or accidently skip a step, I know I am to blame for this all the time. We get lazy. |

FOOTPRINTS!
Footprints is working in HD and is very close to getting its own tab in HD (xboxmod is working on it). I have installed footprints and it works perfectly in HD. I am using the new google maps with footprints. I am attaching all the files needed and the developer has given permission to do this. Here is a link to the XDA thread that you may find helpful. I recommend that Sprint Touch Pro users get over there and show support and let them know what you think as a Touch Pro owner, the only way we are going to get attention to our phone is be letting the developers know that we are here and we care. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=478088 How to install: (pretty easy) -Down load cab files and install -SDKCERTS.cab to your device -Google Maps to where ever you want, I did SD card -KDKobe Footprint to where ever you want, I did SD card and I used the CoPilot one -Done, start using KNOWN PROBLEMS **LANDSCAPE VIEW DOESN'T FIT THE WHOLE SCREEN** http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/q...Screen01-1.png |

Seriously though, It's working great at this time. I haven't resolved the issue with TeleNav as I haven't been able to find the proper DLL file which is not included on the phone. I suspect that it exists on a full installation but not a pre-installed installation. So if anyone with the full installation could check their Windows directory for a library file which resembles the following, NaviSWMiddle_TomTom.dllwe could add support for the Sprint Navigation to Footprints. By the way, the sdkcerts.cab is not necessary on every phone. Install the Footprints CAB first and if it does complain, then add the sdkcerts.cab. I ended up HR my Sprint Touch Pro and reinstalling and didn't need the sdkcerts.cab to install and run it. |

I am using a Sprint TP flashed to scrosler's ROM & activated on Verizon service. I did a hard reset right before installing it, but now that I think about it I MAY have forgotten to delete that data file. I am at work & that is my back-up phone that is sitting home on my kitchen table (that phone is my test bed for ROM's/new apps etc etc) I will check that first thing when I get home tonight. Have a good one bro ;-) ~John |
