I tried to follow these instructions. I loaded these files in this order.
1) XDA-Team_Manill2D
2) UPDATE 14 M2D.rar
3) Manilla2D_NonHTC_Patch
And this is what I got on my Sprint Treo 800w. The app works fairly well. Everything appears to be normal minus the usaul bugs that Im not concerned with at this point. I just dont understand why the app wont landscape to my today screen. I use Real VGA but I tried it on 96dpi which is what its set to in the pictures and I tried 128dpi. I believe real VGA holds no baring on why my screen wont give me the full image and landscape. Hoever like I said before all other functions work as normal and I can scroll thourgh all Icons on touch flo. I might need to try a difrent rar file. I searched and did not find anything related to my issue. Any help or input would be appreciated. A big thanks goes to Jethro Static, kushiel and Arigold1. This is very impresive work guys and to have it on NON HTC devices is pretty cool.

i just installed it on my treo... works good, but how did you get it to fit to the screen like that? on mine, a lot of it is below the screen and i can't get to it...

You will need to disable M2D vie the settings page. Then set the 'favorites' from the cube itself.

Launch M2D and you will have contacts fixed on that tab, which won't wipe away even after a soft reset.

These weather graphics only work with Manilla 2D. This installation file won't work for SPB Mobile Shell.

Installation instructions:
1. Download this file below from Megaupload.
2. Save or move it to one of your mobile directories/storage card
3. Run the .cab file
4. Edit the HTCHomeSettings.xml to replace this line:

<Property name="IDWEWG_WEATHER_POS" id="17" value="0,25,240,205" />

5. Save your edited HTCHomeSettings.xml and replace it in your phone \windows directory
6. Enjoy the new weather graphics.

I have installed the downloaded .cab file, Edited the HTCHomeSettings.xml to replace this line to: <Property name="IDWEWG_WEATHER_POS" id="17" value="0,25,240,205" />
Everything works fine EXCEPT for the misalignment of the "up arrow" which is below the "down arrow" (see attached picture). I believe it's due to the arrow positining but I am not sure which parameters to change.
Can anyone help. Thank you.

I found on www.xda-developers.com which I believe where it originates. Search for Manilla 2D, you can't miss the link. Can't tell you exactly now as their server is down as I am writing. I successfully installed on mu HTC Kaiser succesfully.

How do you remove the black area behind the icons and the small bar on top and maybe the Carrier name too?
