hello everyone, i just wanted to let you all know that I justed posted a new version of M2DC posted over at xda

UPDATE Oct-16-2008 21:30 CDT
v0.12.148
- Fixed bug with launcher changing... used to be broken if the user didn't have
3, 6, or 9 rows. Now it will round to one of those numbers and allow users
to change launcher settings as before.
- Added some more wait cursors (the pinwheel thing) to give user more feedback that
M2DC is not "frozen".
- Attempted to support Windows Mobile 5... not sure if it worked or now, let me know
if you uhave a windows mobile 5 device and try to install this.
- fixed apptodate support, the xml was not pointing to the correct location
- Added Support for a scrollable UI... so now this should work on non qvga devices,
and also work in landscape mode, and react appropriately when the SIP panel appears
- Added an about dialog, donate $1 or more to get your name added to the donator list

Bubble on top bar tap it voicemail shows up on bottom bar tap it and it calls your voicemail. BOO

Vary nice but i wanted to know is all you do is install the cab files and the phone will look like post#1?

I installed the 2D dialer and that was just a .cab install that was vary easy, is this theme just install the .cabs and thats all?

Yeah. but not all that. U install the main cab (M2D). after that, there are components on the tabs that U need to install in order for it to work. Like audio manager, htc album and some fixes. The thing is, install the main cab, play with it. install what is not working. the less U install, the better it will run.

I think U can create hotmail account on outlook.even yahoo etc.

What I should have said it that....you get the 3 icons. The 3rd one is for hotmail but it doesn't update? When I check on my desktop I have new emails?

New trick for email tab. thanks to peterfnet of XDA for this hack. it makes U see more of ur email by removing or placing the envelope at the very bottom. see for urself.


M2D Email Transparency 1.2 [cab] {Updated Oct 17,08}
Update {Oct 17,08}:
Version 1.2
Includes an email icon that will not cover up the email preview. Install over version 1.0. It will prompt you to uninstall. It will then tell you that it cannot be uninstalled. I set these cabs as uninstallable since I do not backup the original PNG files. Proceed through install. Enjoy!

In Manila 2D, on the email tab, there is a huge email overlay icon that sits on top of previewed email messages. Nasty! Run attached cab, reboot when prompted, tada!

Note: it only prompts to reboot if the file is in use. If you shutdown M2D, run the cab, launch M2D, you will save yourself a soft reset.




Only has been tested on the L26_KaiserTouch_V1_M2D ROM. M2D uses images primarily from the \windows\ directory (see below). If you need it to extract elsewhere or have problems, let me know.

Cab replaces 3 PNG files in the "\windows\" directory
hh_email_background.png - cleaned up edges
hh_email_envelope_down.png -transparent
hh_email_envelope_up.png - transparent
