Speed up HTC messaging

hey guys, theres a new thread over @ xda thats gotten quite popular. they claim that they have been able to speed up htc messaging for sense 2.5. also, they have been able to access something called 'secure in box' but u will still get the lag if you choose to go this route.

i have not tried this and cannot promise it will work.

I cooked the newest messaging app in my ROM last night and used it all day today. It doesn't work as far as speed increase as your title would lead. There is still tons of lag while typing. The secure inbox function would be pretty neat if one is into infidelity or has other important information to hide. The only other improvement is the time it takes to load messages. But that doesn't really help when the keyboard is 2 seconds ahead of the messaging app. HTC will get it right one day.

I'm sorry its not working well for you. (reading the xda thread it seems very hit or miss)

I have only experienced lag every now and then, and only directly after sending a txt. almost the same speed as M$ messaging
