Re: TF3D "ALL APPLICATIONS" Mod???
What version of manila/TF3D are you running? The cab I posted works only on manila 2.1 if that's what you have. You can try it on stock TF3d, if that's what you're running, but I'm not sure it will work. It's uninstallable if it doesn't. Here's a pic of what it does to the all applications/all programs (as my phone calls it) tab.

Re: TF3D "ALL APPLICATIONS" Mod???
That Mod is for VGA only the Imagio is WVGA.
I just tried 4ColumnsStart&AllPrograms_v1.1.cab this works. Adds a 4 column main start menu and a column based All Applications menu. The Icons on All Applications load very slowly. I'd really just like the ability to place folders in the All Applications menu. Still Looking. Rick |

Re: TF3D "ALL APPLICATIONS" Mod???
Wouldn't it just be easier to use async & create folders in startmenu and move what you want in different folders?

Re: TF3D "ALL APPLICATIONS" Mod???
Huh? Creating folders in the start menu doesn't create them in the All Applications menu. They are ignored.
What am I missing? Rick |

Re: TF3D "ALL APPLICATIONS" Mod???
I think he's saying screw the all applications menu and just use the start menu which can be rearranged to your liking. It seems there is no solution for you my friend...

Re: TF3D "ALL APPLICATIONS" Mod???
Yeah, I thought of that as well. The old start menu (skinned to match) would work. But I thought it wouldn't be that difficult to get TF3D to recognize folders. Tap and you're in a folder called UTILS or GAMES etc.
Guess not. Have to figure out how to get Manila to simple go to the old windows start menu when All Applications is tapped. Try that out for awhile. Rick |

Re: TF3D "ALL APPLICATIONS" Mod???
@6sto - The original poster seems to be aware of how to edit the "\windows\start menu\programs\games\" directory.
He appears to be asking about how to get this directory link to show up in the HTC Start Menu rather than the original Windows Mobile Start Menu. 1. Do what 6sto said. Basically, organize your Games links into the "\windows\start menu\programs\games\" directory. 2. Browse to "HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\ProgramLauncher\" in your registry. The numbered folders here correspond to slots on your HTC Start Menu. 0 is the top right slot, 1 is the one the right of that, and so forth. Pick a folder that corresponds to an empty slot. 3. Edit the following keys: DispName: Games Path:\windows\start menu\programs\games\ I found this last night in one of the other posts here - hope this helps. It has allowed me to organize quite nicely. |
