I just tried the 1.8 Customized Build Full Version. It ActiveSynced faster for me than the Plain Build Full Version.

I would love to see a Plain Verizon Build (like the stock) with only the Sense changed (with Twitter, Facebook, Reader, Footprints, Recent Docs, etc.). I prefer to make my own customizations (CooKie's Home Tab, CHT editor, no dialer change, no taskbar change, no background change, etc.)

I know there's a 2.5 cab, but it lagged a little more than I like. I'd be willing to pay for it. Thanks again.
I second this. The only thing keeping me from trying 1.8 is the customization. I've tried some of Ab's previous ROMs and loved them, although they were a little laggy for me. I was looking forward to 1.8 but decided against it once I saw the customization - which didn't fit my taste. I'm checking frequently for a 1.8 plain vanilla :). Hope one shows up!

For me, adortab has, by far, the best ROMs. It's amazing the number of versions there are for each build. I would love something in between. Full featured optimized Sense 2.5 with no customization. I'm using the 1.8 customized full and like it a lot. I'd like to go back to the original taskbar icons (the battery is hard for me to see...and I like BattClock). Sometimes searching these forums is very painful. Looks like they're connected to shellres.192.dll and tapres.192.dll. Can I copy these from stock Rom and put on this Rom? Will that do the trick? Also, I'd like to get the start menu and start button to link to the original HTC Programs Menu (I don't want the Programs tab). I prefer not to deal with the windows program list unless I need to (I know I can put icons in quick links, just prefer not going to the Windows menu). Is this an option with Sense 2.5? Thanks!

I'm running his Plain 1.8 (no customization) vzw rar now , just as plain as it can be , and fast too.

I using 1.8 Light. Has anyone tried the enable landscape cab. I can't seem to get it to work. Also I use g-config to rotate other apps, and it doesn't seem to be working with this rom either. Any suggestions? I can't even get my calculator to rotate.

Should not work with g-config... try to uninstall it.. then apply the cab (probably twice)... then install gconfig again... there are some specific registry entries to make manila rotate which g-config does not change/control... specially with fullscreen mode enabled...

Downloaded and flashed 1.8 other version. Great ROM! I am enjoying it very much. I am using the phone with an AT&T sim card. The only problem I am having is setting up a data connection. I did not have a problem with the stock ROM, but for some reason I can't get the MEdia Net setttings to work. Does anyone have an ideas or tips on how to fix the problem?

Love the speed of this Rom, using 1.8 lite... Question, is anyone else having an issue with battery meter showing 100% all the time? I charged yesterday at noon time, and I've been using device all day, still 100% ?

Is there a way to turn the meter from only showing 10% usage blocks to 1%?
