as time progresses, i've noticed more and more stability issues with this release. am i the only one???

A few things I've noticed:
1. my alarm clock NEVER works with this build (using SPB Time, which has worked with all previous drellisdee releases)
2. several times, iv'e attributed the alarm not working to the fact that the phone freezes over night (so i wake up and it's really 8:30, but my phone is frozen at 5:00am and the only way around it is to take out the battery)
3. it freezes during the day, whether I'm using Opera, reading RSS feeds, or emailing requiring me to take out the battery to reset

there are definitely other examples, but i just wanted to see if it's just me. when I flashed, i first flashed using RUU and then hard-reset once or twice after that. i don't really have anything installed besides SPB. It's syncing with my exchange. nothing really abnormal or irregular about my configuration, and it's worked fine in the past.. anyone else??

go back a few pages, there are a few of us that are having the same issues. I actually just switched off of this ROM due to the instability.

I tried running the VCast TV cabs on 1.2a... everything pops up correctly (including the TV guide), but you get a "Programming Not Available" message instead of a show. Sigh.

I've been running this ROM since a day or two after it was released. I have not experienced any stability or lock-up issues with the 1.3 ROM so far. The alarms I've used extensively this past week and have worked flawlessly. I've also experienced no hard lock-ups. I have experienced, once or twice an instance where Sense hung but it would recover after a min or two.

Now, that being said, when I was running 1.2+CHT it was an unstable mess. Lockups, couldn't answer the phone more than half the time, etc... But I did a clean flash to 1.3 and I've gone out of my way to not install any deep mods (since I like to be able to answer the phone) and it's been running solid.

Yeah, after reading alot of the other threads, I am wondering if CHT 1.7 is what is the underlying issue i am having with alot of these ROMs...

Me neither. It's a reasonable theory at this point for those having so many problems, if they're all using CHT. I have noticed that GWES.exe is using an excessive amount of memory with this build, though, but I think it's mainly from Opera. Can't back that up with facts, call it an educated guess.

yeah, i've noticed that too--when my phone dies, often gwes.exe is spiking. what is that process?
