*Note: This only addresses the latency issue that I know of, not the other bugs*

So then it looks and feels the same as well?

ROM features at a glance:

  • Very fast startup time. You won't find any startup wizards in this ROM. You'll be up and running in a couple minutes after flashing the ROM.
  • XDA_UC is built in. It will import your custom XML and REG files from your storage card after first boot.
  • My own Settings Exporter application is found in the Tools folder. Use it to export all your settings after you customize the device. When a new ROM comes down the line, use it to import everything and save time.
  • Everything is setup to use the phone right after flashing. Sounds, notifications, etc
  • The HTC Messaging client is removed, leaving the windows built SMS client for much faster texting...

not sure if this is what exactly you are asking, but you cant make roms within the phone itself. it is done using a program called a kitchen and system files...

Sorry if this isn't helpful but I was just noting the exact opposite. I'm running the Dec 20th Sense 2.5 Cookie 28244 build and have noticed really good battery life.

I did last time it happened, before I realized what was going on. This time I went thru the motions detailed in my post to correct it.

Re: |IMAGIO|¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-* Energy *|Dec 13| 21916|29005 -.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.· Sense 201

Just installed the latest build (Energy.IMAGIO.29007.Sense2.5.Dec.30) as my first custom ROM on this device. Mostly like it - much better than stock.

I'm seeing some issues with MMS though - is there any additional configuration that's required for working on Verizon? I haven't seen any reports of issues when searching through the thread...

The MMS issue i'm seeing:
  • When tapping on a photo and trying to send it via MMS, a new text message is composed, instead of a new MMS.
  • When specifically creating a new MMS, i'm unable to browse to my memory card - only the internal memory is available.
Are any of these bugs expected? or is there a way to fix them? Is there another build I should use?

Thanks all! (especially NRGZ28 =D>)

I understand and that's what I wanted to hear.I am running SPB and I wonder if that is having an impact? I have run it before on some previous NRG roms with no problems but since I flashed this series of roms I just burn up my battery in no time it wont last more than 6hrs.

Any idea if it would be a bad idea to try this out [26.07.2010] Turbo3D v3.0 *FINAL* (also available from Marketplace) - xda-developers (Turbo3d) ???

Also noticed that Dec 30's are out. Installing now. Just want to say I love this ROM more and more which each update. I'm using the Standard Energy ROM and combined with a 710 overclock and SKTools to clean up memory, the phone works great.

Probably not a good idea to try since it is for the HD2. Wouldn't be much wiser to ask you question in that thread anyway?

You won't get an answer in that thread but it also says it may work for other devices. I'm more worried if it will conflict with the Energy ROM in any way. Don't seem to be having any issues...
