Really it is still worth it, IMO, for the BT fix alone, but the device performance is also much better. Used to take a full second or maybe even two from the time I pressed the "settings" hardware button to the time the screen came up, now, it's nearly instantaneous.

Well, the pause you are describing happens to me only after a reboot, but if you let it boot up and load DLL's like Windows, it speeds up (usually)

Plus , you get a better radio for your phone . I get an extra bar at home now.
If you don't like it you can always flash back to the original shipped rom.
I have been running 3.04 since it came out and have not seen any " horror stories " on my phone.

my experience with the new rom has been great, def seems snappier and memory consumption stays lower for me.

it has been posted that removing verizon tv will greatly improve battery life with the new rom. i don't know because i removed it within 10 min of flashing but I can say that my battery life has been outstanding -- much better then even the old rom which had great battery life for me as well.

please... if you are posting about poor battery life let us know if you removed the tv app or not.

My battery life is great. Was good on original rom, but after a few days on the new rom(was poor at first)it's even better. I only removed the tv icon.

I've seen no change in performance whatsoever since switching to new ROM.

I found the cause of my horrible battery life since flashing to the new 3.04 ROM. With "minimal" use my phone will last for a couple of days. With the Bluetooth turned on (and no devices attached) I lose more than 10% an hour.

And I did remove the TV icon/service to see if it would make any difference. but no luck.

After a couple days of flashing my battery life is great. Better than the first rom, which was also good. The battery on this phone lasts alot longer than it did on my touch pro. I went away for the weekend, and didn't even have to charge my battery until i got home on a sunday. I only have the tv icon removed, and on cdma only. and disabled everything in quick gps.
