Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

I believe this was first seen on the TP2. It seems the Outlook pointers get corrupted after a flash sometimes. I believe the fix was to delete your account, and then add it back in. It will then reset the pointers. You could check over at the TP2 forum.

For those who have run this new ROM for a few days how is your memory holding out. Mine has now gone all the way back to 80% used after 2 days. I am running the Dynamic Resource Proxy fix, but I am not running the No Push Internet fix.

Thanks. Poked around in the TP2 forums but couldn't find a fix. Tried clearing and deleting/re-adding are no go too.

Since this apparently impacts Gmail too, looks like an issue with the ROM.

This was my first flash....unless there's a fix, looks like I'll need to learn how flash back to the stock ROM

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

Hmmm, I didn't delete my account completely, only "cleared" it and repopulated. Does it makes sense that outlook would no longer work after a flash? I mean, its a completely new image, isn't it? So you'd think that unless there was a problem with that image, then it should work. Weird.

Anyways, I solved my problem by connecting gmail through Exchange instead of Imap. Don't know if this is an option for everyone, but it works for me.

I don't know what you are doing , I never got to 80% with the stock rom that came on the phone.
After three days I boot up at 48% and it stays between 52 - 66% during the day. Make sure you close all your programs when you finish.

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

Happy to report that the Rom is working fine for me as well:

- improved battery life.
- a little more responsive.
- seems more stable overall.
- doesn't get as hot? Anyone agree?

Hmmm thats interesting. I make sure I do close anything that is left open. At present my Imagio is sitting at 73%. I have the following loaded on my Imagio:

Iffy DisableTVIcon
.Net 3.5 CF
Phone Fusion Voicemail Plus
PsShutXP
TP2 Dynamic Resource Proxy
TF3D Landscape Activation
TCruz Clean, Clear, and Colored v3

Going to uninstall everything I can live without for a period of time, which in my case is just about everything on this list. Voicemail Plus is prolly the only thing I really need. I am then going to give it a day and see if the mem stabilizes. I will then add one app a day and see how it goes.

Might want to try Timmy likes to click lower RAM - ShareMemSize .cab along with the Dynamic Resource Proxy .cab .
You can find Lower RAM-ShareMemSize.cab on page #1 of the Imagio Registry Tweaks thread , post # 9.

Just a heads up, the Lower RAM-ShareMemSize cab and the Dynamic Resource Proxy cab are the exact same thing. Also, they will not help if you are using Sense 2.5. For some reason the registry settings do not stick and it will revert back to default after a soft reset.

I am using 2.1 now because it is a lot faster on my phone. Are there any problems with Lower Ram on 2.1 ? My memory stays between 52-58% most of the time so I really do not feel I have a leak compared to the stock rom.
Anyone working on the My Location weather problem ? Thanks.
