Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

May battery life is noticeable BETTER than before. I'm also starting at 60% ram usage and never exceeding 70%, which is much better than the last ROM. I was maxing out RAM and getting insufficient messages quite often. This is with no RAM optimization cabs installed.

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

I like the upgrade but the battery life is noticibly diminished for me. Didnt change anything. Only been a couple of days so far tho. Nice otherwise.

My battery life seems to have smoothed out now, it barely drops at all unless I use it. It only took 5 days though... lol.

I'm not sure if this is something new with WM6.5 or something with our phones, but it still seems to happen every time I either re-flash or hard reset.

Has anyone figured out the new system of two phone controls? "Ringer Volume" I dont think just controls the ringer volume. And system volume doesnt seem to do much.

I've had it on my phone since before this ROM (not sure why). The System Volume is for text notifications, etc. The Ringer Volume is in fact for just the volume of the ring.

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

Chiming in again on battery life ... my trick of charging/unplugging/charging/unplugging seems to have reset the meter again and the reported battery life has been much better today, likely better than the stock ROM. It never went under 100% for me today, which included 1 brief call, send/receive e-mail about 25 times, and a moderate amount of surfing over about 6 hours.

I completely agree with everyone that says to ride it out for a few days before passing judgment on battery life.

The only problem I have with 3.04 is the "Click to view message" instead of a preview for e-mail in the Sense UI, but from what I'm reading that may resolve itself as well. Anyone with any insight as to why this happens? I see it happens with the stock ROM as well.

edit: And there you go, just like magic, message preview started working all by itself again. Wish I knew what makes it stop in the first place

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

I ran the following OpenGL (and OpenVG) test with this new ROM. I
http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Be...GL-77221.shtml

OpenGL ES info
----------------------
Vendor: QUALCOMM, Inc.
Renderer: Q3Dimension MSM7500W 01.02.03 0 5.1
Version: OpenGL ES-CM 1.0

alpha texture (128x256 rgba) 20911 kPixels/s
torus (3k triangles) one light 8549 kPixels/s
color blending 20670 kPixels/s
sub texture (128x128 15x15) 11584 kPixels/s

OpenVG info
----------------------
Vendor: Hooked Wireless
Renderer: OpenVG 1.1 GLES Accelerated Implementation
Version: 1.1

I can't find my results from the old ROM to compare. It seemed like an improvement, though.

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

Also I am sure most people noticed there is a thread in the main Imagio forum for installing Sense 2.5 on top of this (or any Imagio rom) and it works very well with just a bug on the weather updating however there is a work around for it.

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

So what version do you think is on this? Just a basic sence or something like 2.0? And what is the difference between touchflo and sence? I done understand, sorry.
