Cannot get unlocker to work

unplugged serial, plugged in usb but no activity when plugged back in.

I went into bootloader with the first file renamed and in root of formated sd card and it went to a white screen and it says loading...

but is just stuck at this screen.

it acts as if its locked and wont let anything execute(dont I need to run an unlocker first?)

btw i renamed the .nbh file not the .rar

Follow ali3nfr3ak's steps exactly.You gotta flash radio from sd first then rom. Make sure you do it just like he says.

did that exactly but it sits there with "loading..." on white screen

I unlocked my mogul with this method, so I have a little experience doing it this way.

Also, what happens when you soft reset? Does it boot up? What does it say? Can you hard reset?

when I soft reset it boots normally

hard reset works but doesnt help either

but with my mogul,

I had to unlock, 1st
then radio
then rom

Oh!!! OK!!Well, you aren't unlocked at all ! OK!I thought you had already unocked with the .41 unlocker. Ok, so first are you using a pc with xp or vista ?If xp you have to have activesync installed and functioning. If vista,win7 you will be using Windows Mobile Device Center sync. Can you not sync? Is that the problem? You definitely want to use the 2.31 unlocker. You should be able to follow the steps in the verizon vogue upgrading thread I posted earlier. You probably don't need to upgrade your radio because you already have a gps radio.
