metro pcs internet wont work in 3G areas?

my vogue with an older 6.5 rom the internet works in a 1X area but iarea wn a 3G ith metro it comes back username and password wrong?I didnt enable mms just the internet with a guide,any easy way to do this that works well?any help would be greatly apreciated,thanks.

yes I followed that guide along time ago,internet works but only in a 1x area,I never did the mms just the wap settings but I dont think I need that just for internet?could it be metro?they wont let me go on thier smart phone plan which is 5.00 cheaper than the plan with internet Im on now,anone else able to use the internet in 3g areas with metro?about ready to go back to sprint if I cant even get my emails.

I found this tutorial on howard forums about flashing the vogue to metro pcs. Take a look at it and see if there might be something in there that might help. You may have to flash a different radio to get better reception. Check with metro and see if they do have good 3g/evdo reva coverage where you are.Here's the link :http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1495585
