HTC Touch Vogue won't save videos

So this is really starting to piss me off lately...
I edited registry so that it starts saving videos in storage card - under my documents / my videos / DATE /

And right after i edit registry it does that fine and both pictures and videos save etc.

However if battery runs out or for any reason phone reboots... it stops saving.

I can record the video and click the magnifying class and view it in windows media player... but camera album says no videos found and if i navigate to the folders on storage card via File Explorer / Resco File explorer / or even PC -- it wont show up... My Videos folder is just empty

If i look under properties in windows media player... it shows \Storage Card\My Documents\My Videos\DATE\\VIDEO_0XX.avi

and it plays, but i cant navigate there...
After i close windows media player then the videos are never to be found
Under resco file explorer i checked show hidden folders and system files/folders and still no show

Same with PC

This is irritating me as i need the videos saved on storage card but i cant
phone memory too little since i regedited video to higher resolution / quality

Never heard of this before. Sounds like the files aren't saving to your card. You should be able to see something when you try to navigate to those files usung file explorer. Maybe there is a setting in your camera album that needs to be set. I know Schaps Advanced Config app has a setting in it that will set the default locations for videos, pics , and music. Maybe you need something like that. You'll need NetCF3.5 first for Advanced Config.Are you positive the reg edits saved right? I recommend you use phm regeditor for the reg edits. Good Luck!
