real web browsing at 3G speeds

As in the title from what I have been told that if you have a flash phone and if they put in your account that you have Motorola Evoke QA4 and the and the extra 15 to get the real web without blocking all the other ports so you can get exchange e-mail or IM can anyone tell me if this is true?

I can not say that all ports are open but I can say I get Imap Gmail, faster speeds, but I can not receive MMS.

Evdo is basically the cdma equivalent to 3G on gsm.

I now receive MMS but it takes 15 min to receive it.
